ERO Report

ERO, the Education Review Office, reviews the performance of every school from time to time. The resulting report, called an Education Review Report, is a public document and is often used as a yardstick for a school's recent performance.

Summary from ERO report

"Students report that they appreciate teacher support and enjoy the learning, cultural, sporting and leadership opportunities provided.  Classrooms are settled work environments, ensuring a good level of student engagement.  Students are friendly, polite and participate confidently in classroom discussions.  Effective guidance and pastoral systems contribute to respectful relationships between students and staff and amongst students.  Teachers know theri students well, build on their prior knowledge, listen to students' iseas and use skilled questioning techniques to promote students' thinking and to facilitate their learning.  Teachers affirm students' achievement and work with them to set specific goals for further learning."
