How To Enrol

Enrolment at Pukekohe Intermediate is governed by an enrolment scheme.  Please phone the school office (09)238 6568 if you have any questions regarding enrolment. 

Prospective parents should be aware of Government requirements for the school to sight an original birth certificate for all students enrolling, plus a passport an visa for students not born in New Zealand.  As we cannot confirm an enrolment until these documents have been sighted, please make sure you have them available at the time of enrolment.

Procedures for 2012 Enrolments
Year 7

Information for Year 6 parents wishing to enrol their child at the Intermediate School in 2012 will be sent home with children at Hill, Valley, Puni, Patumahoe, Mauku and East Primary Schools early in Term 4.  Parents with students in other schools can request information to be mailed or emailed or can collect this from the school office.

Year 7 Accelerate Class

If your child currently attends one of our contributing schools, they will be able to take the test for the Year 7 Accelerate Class at their current school on the following dates:

Valley School - Tuesday 8 November 9.00 am

Hill School - Wednesday 9 November 9.00 am

Pukekohe East School - Thursday 10 November 11.00 am

Mauku School - Friday 11 November 9.00 am

Puni School - Friday 11 November 11.00 am

Patumahoe School - Monday 14 November 9.00 am

If your child attends a non-contributing school, we have three afternoons when they can come to Pukekohe Intermediate to sit the test.  They are

Monday 7, Thursday 10 & Friday 11 November at 3.30 pm.  Please contact the Student Centre to arrange a time.

Out of Zone Enrolments

The Board of Trustees has determined that 35 Year 7 places and 5 Year 8 places are available for 2012.

Application for out of zone enrolment can be made at the school office, up to and including 4.00 pm on Friday 7 October 2011.  If a ballot is necessary this will take place on Tuesday 25 October 2011 and all applicants notified in writing by Monday 31 October 2011.
